County Road 4, Colerain Pike, To Close – UPDATED DATE

County Road 4, Colerain Pike, will now be closed to all traffic for a bridge repair project beginning on February 16, 2021. The road will be closed in both directions for a period of four weeks.

The road was originally scheduled to close on February 8, 2021 but was rescheduled due to weather conditions.

The closure is 0.30 miles west of the state route 647, Mt. Pleasant Pike, intersection.

Advance warning signs will be posted.  Project is weather dependent.

County Road 86, Pleasant Ridge Road, To Close

County Road 86, Pleasant Ridge Road, will be closed on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 and Wednesday, January 13, 2021 during the daylight hours of 8:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. each day. The roadway will be open once construction ceases each day. This project consists of replacing three culverts.

The closure is approximately 0.50 miles south of the township road 234, Waterman Hill Road aka Cool Hill Road, intersection.

The project is weather dependent.

County Road 4, Colerain Pike, To Close

County Road 4, Colerain Pike, will be closed for one day, Thursday, December 10, 2020, during the hours of 8:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. to apply concrete over a recently installed culvert and to repair a wall.

The closure is 0.96 miles west of the state road 647, Mt. Pleasant Pike, intersection.

The project is weather dependent.

County Road 4, Glenns Run Road, Restricted to One Lane

Beginning Monday, September 21, 2020 and through October 5, 2020, County Road 4 (Glenns Run Road) will be restricted to one lane for a paving and striping project.

The restricted route is between the intersections of SR-647, Colerain Pike, and County Road 16, Nixon Run Road.

Advanced warning signs and flaggers will be in place.

County Road 56, Cats Run Road, To Close

County Road 56, Cats Run Road, will closed to all traffic for a five day period beginning Monday, September 15, 2020 at approximately 8:00 AM and continue through September 19, 2020 opening at approximately 6:00 PM. The road will be closed for a culvert replacement project.

The closure is 2.13 miles west of the State Route 148 intersection.

The road will be closed in both directions. Advance warning signs will be posted.

County Road 4, Willow Grove Road, To Close

County Road 4, Willow Grove Road, will close to all traffic for approximately three months beginning on Monday, August 10, 2020 for a retaining wall repair project. The closure is 0.33 miles north of the State Route 149 intersection.

Access will be provided to residents of township road 316, Tiger Road.

Advance warning signs will be posted. Project is weather dependent.

County Road 56, Cats Run Road, To Close

County Road 56, Cats Run Road, will close for approximately three weeks on Monday, July 27, 2020 for a slide repair project.  The closure is 1.25 miles southwest of the State Route 148 intersection.

County Road 4, Glenns Run Road, To Close

County Road 4, Glenns Run Road, is scheduled to be closed for culvert replacement projects. The closure will occur during the hours of 8:00 AM until 3:30 PM for a period of three days beginning on July 15, 2020.

The road will be closed 800 feet east of Township Road 639, Dorsch Road, and 1650 feet east of Township Road 464, Treadway Road.

These projects are weather and equipment dependent.

Centerline Striping and Pavement Marking on County Roads

The Aero-Mark Company will be completing centerline striping around the county and pavement marking in the mall area from July 6, 2020 through July 17, 2020, weather dependent.  This project is 100% funded by a federal Highway Safety Funds grant.

County Road 82, Airport Road Elm Station, Opened

County Road 82, Airport Road Elm Station, is open to traffic near the intersection of County Road 80, Pogue Road, and through the intersection of township road 276, Brush Run Road.  The road had been closed to repair a leak in a gas main line.
